Sankofa African Review
Sankofa African Review strategic objective is to bridge the gap between the African Diaspora and the African continent. It has the goal of bringing together experts from the African Diaspora and the continent to discuss contemporary issues and most importantly Great Powers Strategies, Objectives and Strategic Relations towards the continent.
The SAR platform thought-provoking nuance-discussions rely on narratives. Narratives are an integral part of African political, economic, security, development, social settings and governance system. However, SAR platform utilizes narratives based on research findings, policy positions and realities prevailing in various Africa Member States given the diversities and complexities of the political and governance systems. The narratives help panelists and guests to present their perspectives independently, which sometimes may diverge from official government or organizational policy positions.
In a December 12, 2023 discussion, Dr. Joseph Siegle, Director of Research, Africa Center for Strategic Studies (ACSS) at the National Defense University (NDU, Washington, DC) after appearing on Sankofa Africa Review platform on the topic “Democratic Challenges, Coups & Human Insecurity in Africa in an email exchange stated, “The event covered a lot of grounds and it was clear you had rigorously prepared in order to set this up”.
